Great station, but you talk about the Mother’s Day Concert at Music Hall with Fantasia and D L Hugley, I need to know where to get tickets and how much? I went to Music Hall and your website and cannot find any information. Please help me!!!

I loved this station. I looked forward in the morning to listening to TJMS. I loved faith and and the smooth sounds3 in the evening. Yesterday evening around 5ish you guys started counting music and playing just snips of songs. Well that is very annoying. Please Please please return to the previous format. If you want us to pick songs do it during specified time not all day and not like that. Iike listening to the DJs comments and commentary.

I truly enjoy this station and listen to it all the time, when I am in town. I am a bit confused on what is going on at the moment on the station. All day long for the last 4 days you all have been playing snips of songs, and there are no DJs. This is very annoying, and because of this, I have resorted to either listening to other stations or listening to my IPod through my car stereo. From what I have come to understand this is being done so that the listeners can choose their favorite songs in order for you (the station) to play the music the listeners prefer. Where I appricaite the station wanting to ensure they are providing the listeners what we want, I feel this could have been done in another way. I personally don’t have time to listen to songs from 1 to infinity to choose a format nor do I want to. I think this could have been done by utilizing a Market Research Company or by posting a questionnaire on this web site for listeners to respond. I miss TJMS and all the radio personalities and their commentaries. I do hope you all will go back to the format you had or something similar. I can’t take what is happening now on this station!

So far I’m not impressed with the programing. What happened to TJMS??? I LOVED to “old” format not sure about this “new” one. I’ll most likely listen to AM 1230 in the morning and my iTunes the rest of the day. I guess time will tell huh?!?!? I miss the R&B.

This new format is HORRIBLE!!!!! To make this drastic of a change to your listening format without including your key listening was not a smart plan.

In this area, there is a void for adults who like old-school music but also have modern music taste (R&B, neo-soul, and gospel) as well. While your previous programming was not perfect, it provided this demographic with needed variety in musical programming. Where is this listener to go?

Have you read that 74% of the comments posted are negative? Do you notice that this was from your former listening audience? Or, were you so concerned with reaching out to a “broader listening audience” that your former fan base was of no significance to you?

I hope that these “new” listeners that you seek are enough to replace all of the former listeners that your programming has lost.

How in the WORLD can a radio station that caters to a predominantly black audience justify removing the

TOM JOYNER MORNING SHOW

from their format??? Whoever made this decision must be from another planet because on this one here the Fly Jock is the s***! Please bring Tom, Jay and Sybil back. I NEEEEEEEED them. It’s like that first cup of coffee, that cigarette, that donut, whatever get’s you going in the morning. I need my fix!!
